About us
Our daycare
La Garderie les Petits Oursons is a private, unsubsidized daycare welcoming 75 children aged 0 to 5 years old. We view our daycare as a second home for all children and adults, a safe place where tolerance and love encourage learning and growth.
We also believe that laughter and play are essential to the well-being of every child. We have been in business since 2004 and we hold a permit from the Quebec Ministry of Family.
Location
Ideally located near the REM, our daycare is situated in the industrial section of the city of Brossard, between Route 132 and Highway 30.
6 large classrooms
Our daycare center has 6 large classrooms: 2 rooms for the nursery and 4 rooms for the older children. The classrooms are well-lit, spacious, and safe.
Experienced educators
Our educational programs facilitate the development according to the standards of the Ministry of Family with 9 experienced educators.
Menu
Healthy menus (a hot lunch and 2 snacks) meet the requirements of the Canadian Food Guide.
Our vision & goals
Our philosophy is to promote, through guided activities, the development of each child: social, physical, emotional, and cognitive. We adhere to educator-to-child ratios that assist us in providing optimal education and care in a safe, fun, and engaging environment. We believe that the children we educate today will make a difference tomorrow by bringing something unique to our world.
Our main objective is to offer children the best possible education by turning each creative activity into a problem-solving opportunity. We individually support each child in their emotional, physical, and cognitive development and learning by supporting families and recognizing that parents are the primary educators of children.
Our educators
Our employees are carefully selected to provide the best care and optimal education to each child. The director and educators are all qualified, and their qualifications are recognized by the Ministry of Family, as well as by their relevant professional experience.
All members of our staff have completed first aid and CPR courses and have undergone a two-week training before working full-time in the daycare.
